Your Inner Peace

What’s inside your head when you heard about ‘inner peace’?

A calm, peace inside your soul, what else?

This writing is really inspired by one of my favorite film, Kungfu Panda 3.

Who doesn’t love about this cute Panda? Have you all watched this film?

I prefer not to give the synopsis about this film. However, I’m trying to look from different side.
I thought the big idea of this movie is Po the Panda is trying to save the village from a big monster named Kay. He is actually chosen from an old man turtle named Oogway that someday he can fight against Kay. Even though Oogway was very confident that Po can do it, but Po himself was never believe on it. He always thinks that he cannot do anything, until one day, something was brought his father to that village and brought him going back to Panda Village, finding his brothers and sisters, inner peace, and then at the end of the story, he can fight against Kay and of course WIN.

That’s only a glimpse about the story.

After I watched the movie, I can get 2 reflections for my life.

The first one is about when Po believes that he was born from an egg, because a chicken who’s taking care of him from baby told that he is his father. He believed it because his surrounding was chicken, there is no Panda like him, until one day someone that looks like him is coming to pick him up to go back to Panda Village. Afterwards, he realized that the chicken is not his Father.
There was something that I believe, if you want to be something, you have to be surrounded by people that have the same goals with you. Otherwise, you will be something like people around you. The very simple example is when a man, very kind man, surrounded by thieves. Is he going to be a thief? I’m very sure 100% YES! Because the surroundings will lead you and influence what you are going to be.

The second thing, when Po was appointed to lead all of Panda Village member to fight against Kay. Po was maximizing the potential within each individual. He didn’t teach one by one to learn Kung Fu, however, he set strategy to utilize all Panda by using their ability. For example, the dancer, Po was maximizing her ability to dance, so that it can be used to deceive the enemy. I think it’s all the same with us. Sometimes, we are trying to be someone that we adore, instead of maximizing what is given to us.

I believe all of us have uniqueness. Sometimes we just need time to find our inner peace or something that we are good at, or even we need someone to wake us up so we can make our dreams come true, instead of just adore somebody, trying to imitate them, then we will fail so many times.

Before it’s too late and so many times wasted, let us take some time, just relax, and think over who we are, what we are going to do, and what we want. Because the future is on our hand, so, let decide from now :)
